AIRPORT SAFETY COMMITTEE
An Airport Safety Commitee meets every 4 months, chaired by the Operations and Compliance manager, in accordance with the provisions of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the City Airport Ltd. Safety Management System (SMS).
The purpose of these meetings is to establish and provide a constructive and effective forum for all aviation safety matters, flight safety and runway safety at City Airport & Heliport.
All based Airport Flying Operators are requried to attend. Additionally, any pilots, aircraft operators and other airport tenants are welcome and positively encouraged to attend and contribute.
